To enrich employees’ spiritual and cultural lives and rally their enthusiasm for work and innovation, the Anhui Mining Machinery Trade Union has recently organized a series of cultural and sports activities under the theme “Welcoming the Mid-Autumn Festival and Celebrating National Day,” fostering a corporate atmosphere of high morale, unity, and proactive progress.

Make friends through sports, and shine on the field.

The employees’ friendly basketball tournament kicked off first, with players on the court brimming with energy and high spirits. Offense and defense transitioned smoothly, as steals, fast breaks, and shots unfolded in rapid succession, drawing thunderous cheers from the crowd. Everyone competed fiercely yet encouraged one another, embodying the sporting spirit of “friendship first, competition second.” Spectators along the sidelines cheered enthusiastically, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere. The game was not only a test of physical prowess and skill but also a vivid demonstration of teamwork and camaraderie.

Bravely scaling new heights, we showcase our spirit from the summit.

In the crisp, clear autumn air, a spirited mountain-climbing competition was held at Xiangshan Park, drawing more than 40 employees to take part. Along the trail, participants charged ahead with high spirits, encouraging one another and staying committed—never giving up or abandoning their efforts—demonstrating resilience, determination, and a spirit of camaraderie. Medical staff were on hand throughout the event to ensure safety. Prizes were awarded to the top three finishers based on their time to reach the summit.

Running by the lakeside, embodying the spirit of striving.

At Zhonghu Park, 40 employees took part in a health‑focused jogging event, using their steps to savor the scenic beauty along the lakeshore. Along the route, participants moved at varying paces yet stayed together; those in the lead turned back to offer encouragement, while those lagging pressed on with determination, supporting one another every step of the way. As they enjoyed the autumn lake views and exchanged thoughts on work and life, they found relief from stress and came to appreciate the tenacious, unwavering spirit of perseverance embodied by the Long March.

Colorful jump ropes, vibrant energy soaring high

Twenty employees took part in the jump-rope competition. As the starting whistle blew, colorful ropes flashed up and down, and each participant showcased their unique style: some leapt with both feet in quick, seamless rhythm, while others performed agile single‑foot jumps with crisp, graceful movements. Fully immersed in the contest, they savored the joy of sport and vividly demonstrated the energetic, spirited demeanor that defines our workforce.

Rope brings strength; tug-of-war forges unity.

The tug-of-war competition was charged with an electric atmosphere, with six teams taking part—each consisting of ten members, arranged in an eight‑men‑and‑two‑women lineup. At the sound of the whistle, the competitors gripped the rope tightly, leaned back, and exerted their combined strength in unison. Along the sidelines, cheers and shouts surged wave after wave, as the team members pulled together as one, vividly embodying the collective spirit of unity and shared purpose.

Cultural and sports activities are not only a leisurely way to strengthen the body but also a team‑building forum that fosters unity and collaboration. The Anhui Mining Machinery Union has consistently established platforms for employees to connect and showcase their talents, infusing the spirit of sport into the company’s development. This approach effectively alleviates physical and mental stress, enhances interpersonal communication, and fully ignites enthusiasm for work and entrepreneurship.
