On July 14, Wang Zhenjiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Huaihai Industrial Group, paid a visit to Anhui Mining Machinery to conduct an on-site inspection, gain a thorough understanding of the situation, clarify the company’s development direction, and outline key tasks. Wang Xuefeng, a member of the Group’s Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, also attended the visit.
At the research symposium, Anhui Mining Machinery reported on the progress of its first-half production and operational targets, the advancement of key initiatives, the rectification of issues identified during inspections and audits, and the status of its shareholding reform. Grounded in the year’s objectives and tasks, the company also outlined its strategic direction and specific measures for the second half of the year.
Drawing on the industry landscape and the company’s specific circumstances, Wang Zhenjiang laid out a comprehensive plan for the second half of the year. He emphasized the need to liberate thinking, transform mindsets, and firmly bolster confidence in development. Leadership teams should take the lead in dispelling the “wait‑for‑handouts” mentality, launch company‑wide discussions, thoroughly identify and rectify persistent problems in thought and work style, and forge a shared understanding that “development cannot wait, nor can we afford to lag behind.” Mid‑level managers must meticulously grasp policies and ensure their effective implementation; meanwhile, the mass‑oriented thematic publicity campaign “Me and My Huaihai” should be deepened to strengthen employees’ sense of ownership and enhance team loyalty, execution capability, and overall well‑being. Responsibilities must be fulfilled with dedication and accountability, with all parties’ duties rigorously enforced. A mechanism should be established whereby leadership teams regularly receive progress reports, ensuring responsibility is cascaded down through every level. A clear orientation—“new officials must settle old accounts”—should be firmly set to properly resolve longstanding issues. The role of administrative departments must be fully leveraged to improve their capacity to perform their duties; reforms to strengthen the industrial workforce should be deepened, with targeted skills‑upgrading initiatives to address structural challenges such as an aging workforce and insufficient technical expertise. We must confront problems head‑on and engage in self‑revolution, pressing ahead with decisive corrective actions. Focusing on key weaknesses—including insufficient market orders, bottlenecks in critical technologies, loose operational management, and imbalances in talent structures—specific measures should be refined for each issue, thereby enhancing core competitiveness through problem‑solving. In light of findings from inspections, audits, and comprehensive oversight, we must turn inward to address shortcomings and plug loopholes, continuously reinforcing our management foundation. Seizing opportunities and pioneering innovation, we must articulate a clear development strategy. By firmly grasping strategic investment opportunities and anchoring ourselves to the goal of becoming “the province’s R&D and manufacturing base for intelligent coal‑mining equipment,” we will plan smart‑factory construction, product diversification, and breakthroughs in core technologies at a high starting point. A scientifically formulated Five‑Year Plan for the 15th period will provide a clear roadmap to guide transformation and upgrading. Empowering development through Party building and rallying strength through corporate culture, we will consolidate collective momentum. We will deepen the creation of the “177” Party‑building brand, promoting deep integration between Party work and production‑operation activities; excavate and distill nearly 70 years of cultural heritage into a distinctive corporate culture system; and conduct regular briefings on the current situation and tasks, directly addressing employee concerns related to reform, compensation, and other issues. Finally, we will shoulder the primary responsibility for exercising full and rigorous Party self‑discipline, continuously purifying the political environment and fostering a workplace characterized by unity, vigor, integrity, and a positive spirit of entrepreneurship.
The Group’s Assistant General Manager, relevant officials from the General Office, members of the Anhui Mining Machinery leadership team, and heads of related departments attended the research visit.
